Computer Fright
You play as a guy named Big Belch Bobert who was terrified by his computer and ran out of his room screaming. Help him escape from the creepy computer by avoiding clever traps and puzzles set up by the computer. Your goal is to defeat the evil computer and to have a stew. This game is based on a very specific experience from my childhood, when I would run from my computer after using it, with a bit of fear too, for some reason. Was the computer out to get me? Not really. But Bobert is in trouble so you gotta help him. 40 levels. 1.1 (2025/06/19) - Fixed the following bugs: - Holding onto a platform with your nose on the level that introduces trigger-bombs - The homing computer on "hmm where's the key" level not hurting the player - One of the background tiles in the first water puddle was in the foreground. - ALL the background tiles on the same level in the next part of it were in the front! - The dark level with invisible platforms was too difficult. - Dying on the timer-skewer lever changed the music to the final boss track. - Trees weren't behind the water in the penultimate puddle you encounter. 1.0 (17/02/2025) - Initial release.
