Best Albums
Cat Rapes Dog
Maximum Overdrive (1989)
A perfect introduction to CRD's antics. "Motorhead", "Schizophrenia" (a better version of "Schizo") and "12' Love" never get old.
Project Pitchfork
IO (1994)
A kind of a concept album, PP's best. Since their sound changed alot, it only reflects the sound of their ealier albums, but to be fair their sound never got bad, it's just that the songwriting got really weak past Daimonion. Life life stops stops in slow motion. Great shit.
Individual Totem
Mind Sculptures Flesh (1997)
IT is not very well known, but MSF is probably one of the best industrial albums ever. Even though they changed their sound with every album, even their modern output is worth it.
KMFDM
Symbols (1997)
This one doesn't need introduction...
Velvet Acid Christ
Twisted Thought Generator (2000)
This one might need an introduction but I'm not sure what to say... Listen to "Velvet Pill" and "Lysergia", these should do the trick.
Front Line Assembly
Tactical Neural Implant (1992)
I'm not much into FLA, but this is a good album. However, I also think that the song "Provision" is probably better than everything on it. Well, listen to both the song and this album.
Artists & Bands
Cat Rapes Dog - God, Guns & Gasoline; The Banzai Beats; Moosehair Underwear are all good albums. Past these they got weaker but here are some later bangers: "Cannibal Hippies", "How The Country Falls", "I'm Not OK, You're Not OK, But Hey, That's OK", "The World Is Good And Nothing Bad Ever Happens", "There's No Evil", "World's Fair".
Chu Ishikawa - "BF1", "CL", "DH", "LS", "MG", "NW", "Sand I", "SK", "ST". Make sure to get the 2010 Tetsuo 3 CD box release cause I believe some of these were previously released on a single album, but in an altered state.
Chemlab - "Suicide Jag".
Chiasm - "The Caffeine Cycle".
Coil - "The Anal Staircase", "Slur", "Ostia", "The Last Amethyst Deceiver".
Contagion - "Ingest", "Scratch", "Turn Of The Screw", "We Believe".
Die Krupps - "Bloodsuckers", "Crossfire", "Doppelgaenger", "Fatherland", "Hi Tech Low Life", "Risky Soul Version" (this one is a disco song), "To The Hilt".
Foetus - "The Throne Of Agony".
Front 242 - "Circling Overland", "Crapage", "Headhunter v1.0", "Masterhit (Part I & II)", "Matrix (Megahertz)", "Melt", "Rerun Time", "Rhythm Of Time", "Terminal State", "W.Y.H.I.W.Y.G", "Waste".
Front Line Assembly - "Landslide", "Provision", "Resist", "Threshold".
Haujobb - "Clockwise", "Consciousness", "Depths", "Journey Ahead", "Solid State Logic".
Individual Totem - Just listen to everything. Mumia Vera and the early demos have some cool early versions of some of the later songs. Aspects Of Theories And Reality is a crunchy but dancey album with such hits as "Transmission" and "Scanning Instructions". S.E.T.I (whatever that stands for) has "Levitation" and "Wavicels". Mothfly has their best, "Redeemer". Kyria 13 is a concept album masterpiece that has very little to do with industrial. Electrostatic is OK but probably their weakest.
KMFDM - Nihil is their second best. After that, Money. Other great songs: "Rules", "Thumb Thumb", "Blackball", "HYENA", etc etc, they have a large catalogue, just listen to them.
Lords Of Acid - "I Must Increase My Bust", "I Sit On Acid". Slightly eurodancey at times.
Ministry - "All Day Remix", "Just Like You", "We Believe"
Nine Inch Nails - "Head Like A Hole". Yeah, just this one. Hahahahaha.
Nitzer Ebb - This Total Age, occasionally.
Noise Unit - "Struktur", "No Colour".
Noxious Emotion - You should probably listen to everything, they made very similarly sounding songs so if you like one you'll like most of them. Very interesting stuff. "Titanium", "Complacency", "Enthropy", "Firemission", "Indefinite & Unspecified", "Inertia", "Iodine", "Orbital Array", "Pi", "Symbiosis".
Project Pitchfork - If you like IO, try Entities and Lam-Bras. After these, Alpha Omega. Daimonion adn Eon Eon have a more modern futurepoppy sound. Chakra Red is a bizarre one but it's my second favorite. Inferno has a few cool tracks. Black is a dancey banger but by that point they completed their shift into futurepop. Dhyani is worth hearing if you went through all of their other early material. As for any albums I didn't mention, there's always a few decent tracks so I highly recommend the whole catalogue.
Skinny Puppy - I couldn't get into SP, but I like "Assimilate", "Far Too Frail", "Testure", "Smothered Hope", "Glass Houses".
Smersh - An experimental band, their quality ranges from amazing to ouch ouch turn it off. "AIP", "Black On Pink", "Grasing Wheezer", "Heartache Gone Shopping", "Hunter Killer", "Judy Mach 7", "New Mobile Suit", "Rhythm Crash", "Spook House", "The Fin", "The Meandering Profile", "Woman... Amelia".
Skinny Puppy - I couldn't get into SP, but I like "Assimilate", "Far Too Frail", "Testure", "Smothered Hope", "Glass Houses", "M Appeal".
Snog - "Corporate Slave", "Adolph's Library", "Bank", "Real Wise Yuppie", "Hooray!!", "Cheerful Hypocrisy", "Shop", "The Plug-In Drug", "Otto Rahn", "The Vampires Of Real Estate", "Everything Is Under Control", "Empires", "Hey Christian God (Sacred Mushroom II Mix)", "Clockwork Man". These are a mix of older, industrial stuff and newer dancey electronic stuff. Overall, a great introduction. Also, the live version of "Real Wise Yuppie / Born To Be Mild" is amazing.
Testify - "Dumb" + Die Krupps Remix. "I Am The Gas To Burn", "Quest Of Nothing", "White Skinned Heroine".
The Fair Sex - "The House Of Unkinds".
The Prodigy - "Firestarter". I dont care for this band in the slightest, but a guy going TWISTED FIERSTARTAH with a funny accent is just brilliant unintentional comedy.
Velvet Acid Christ - "Fun With Drugs" is epic. "Slut", "Decypher", "Icon", "The Dark Inside Me".
Vivisect - "Stone Hard".
Voxis - "Nihilistic Neon Afterglow".
