Trance is one of the greatest genres of music. It sounds like a mind-blowing infinity opening up in front of you, the world being cleansed of filth and filled with the most powerful energy. Like time travelling or warping through time and space using your mind, feeling the wind on your body as you are traversing abstract cosmic realms at full speed.

Hypetraxx
Tales From The Darkside (2000)
A really cool concept album with inspiring lyrics and some spoken parts. "The World Is Mine" is the best song ever! "Darkside", "Hope", "Illusions & Lies", "Dreamworld" are all amazing.

Dark Trance Part 7 CD 2 (2004)
Mixed by Hypetraxx, easily the best trance compilation ever made. You are sent on a trip into the depths of darkness inside of a trance-fueled starship. Can you survive?
Various Artists
Trance Energy 2002 Volume 2 (2002)
If you survived the previous trip then you're ready to be shot directly into the zone of mad turbulence!!! A more etheral experience, but truly unforgettable.
Galaxee
Our Galaxee (2002)
A certain mix of popcorn was erroneously attributed to this band by someone on napster/limewire (leading Kubus to repeat the mistake in "Johnny"). Thanks to this, I managed to discover their full length masterpiece. Has a cool trance mix of KrÄkevisa and the incredible "Fly Away".
666
Paradoxx (1998)
Beware... Cause I'm your nightmare!! Insane in the brain from another dimension, back once again back in full effect, get up on the floor get down on da trackk... Yeah this one is sick but harsher than the rest here. The platinum edition has more tracks.

Trance Energy 2002 Volume 1 (2002)
I haven't listened to this one enough yet, but overall I'd say check it out if you're bored of the second volume. It's not nearly as epic however.
Various Artists
World Of Trance 15 (2001)
2 CDs of tough hard trance. Still assessimg it..
Various Artists
World Of Trance X (1999)
This one might be better, but note that it is not hard trance like 15. One track in particular, "Close Your Eyes", is mind-blowing, the rest are more of a background listen.

Trance Mix '99
Lots of common tracks here, but most of them are remixed so it's a fresh listen.

Global Phases (2005)
This one is in it's own league really,.. I am kind of getting bored of it so maybe I'll remove it. But the starting tracks are kind of nice.
Artists & Bands
666 - "Paradoxx" is great but "Who's Afraid Of?" is not as fun. After that they disappeared for nearly 2 decades until covid resurrected them and led to a collab with fucking GALAXEE of all bands.
Afterburn - "North Pole" and "Frattboy" are great.
Aly & Fila - "Eye Of Horus (Ronski Speed Extended Remix)".
B.B.E - "Seven Days And One Week".
Binary Finary - "1999 (Kaycee Remix)".
Chi A.D. - "Exit Eternity". A good example of a psychedelic, relaxing track.
C.M. - "Dream Universe (Marino S. Pace Mix)".
DCX - "Flying High (DJ Splash Remix)". You can find the sped up version on youtube, it's easy to recreate it if you have the original track.
DJ Kalpa & Marino Stephano- "Dream's Harmony"
DJ Scot Project - "Overdrive (Airplay Mix)"
DJ X2000 - "Modem"
Dumonde - "Human". Ooooghhh wow, there is a mix of this on Dark Trance 6 where it goes from Darude's music into this song, simply orgasmic.
EnV - "Heaven Rd.2 (Ng Mix)". Dancey and fun.
Faithless - not a trance band, but "God Is A DJ" and "Insomnia (Monster Mix)" are legendary. I may be wrong but there's different versions of the former, check out the video version in particular.
Galaxee - a short lived but quite nice band.
Hypetraxx - Hell YEAH. Also check out their mix of "Send Me An Angel", "Paranoid" and "Interceptor (D-Cay Mix).
Ian Van Dahl - vocal trance. Pop by most people's standarts, but I really like it. Check out "Reason", "Try", "Where Are You Now", "Will I?", all versions of "Castles In The Sky" and of course, "I Can't Let You Go".
Infected Mushroom - "Kababies". Psytrance.
Interphace - I'm doctor feelgood, makes you feel good,.. Yip yup.
Jaia - "Mai Mai". Psytrance.
Kelly LLorenna - More vocal trance!!! Haters, take a hike. First time I heard "Tell It To My Heart" I thought it was horrendous, later it started playing in my head and I fell in love with it. "Heart Of Gold" and "Forever" are also great (last one was released under the band name N-Trance).
Korruption - "Popcorn (7" Mix)". Music for the brain.. One of the best mixes of popcorn.
La Luna - what, even more? "Here I Am", "Venus (Venus Radio Mix)", "Sometimes, Somewhere, Someone".
Lasgo - Yes, MORE!!! "Alone", "Pray", "Something", "Cloud Surfers".
Lightforce - "Join me (Lightforce Radio Edit)". The full version is cool too. One of the most powerful, legendary tracks.
Mauro Picotto - let's take a break from that vocal stuff. Here's some relaxing shit, "Komodo", "Like This Like That", "Proximus". Makes you feel like you're flying through a beach with the power of your BRANE.
Mesh - "Purple Haze". Not to be confused with the synthpop band by the same name.
Mythos 'N DJ Cosmo - not sure who this is but you should listen to "Send Me An Angel", plus the tandu remix of thereof.
Paraphonatic - "The Past, The Present, The Future".
Pale X - "Hibernation"
Paul Oakenfold - "Ready Steady Go".
Push - Cosmik, spacey, eternal. The year is.. 1999. Cyborgs are coming so you need to board your spaceship and prepare to fight back with your plasmagun. "Strange World (2000 Remix)", "The Legacy (Club Mix)", "Till We Meet Again", "Tranceformation (Push Trancendental Vocal Mix)", "Universal Nation".
RMB - "Reflections" is easily one of the greatest songs EVER. "Madman's Legend" isn't trance but you have to hear it too.
Robert Gitelman - "Things 2 Say"
Robert Miles - everyone knows this guy and his masterpiece. "Fantasya" and "Landscapes" are my favorite tracks on it. The Red Zone EP is really nice.
Sash! - "Ecuador" is super duper epic, "Adelante" is nice, beyond that he is kind of passable.
Scooter - another obvious pick.. Has bangers like "How Much Is The Fish", "Move Your Ass" and "The Logical Song", but beyond that.. meh..
Spacecorn - "Popcorn". Ultra-trancey popcorn!
Starbug - hey I want mooore. "Dreams (A Kind Of Desert)" and "Hypnosis".
Syna - "Do You Feel?" now this is a legendary fucking anthem. Whooowee.
The Shining - they only ever released one single, "Maze", but all the versions of the song are great..
Three Drives - "Greece 2000 (Original Mix)" and "Air Traffic" are nice.
Underworld - "Dark Train". Those "ah-ah" samples are everything you've ever needed.
Yoda INC - "Definitely (Original Mix)". Definitely sick!
Warp Brothers - "Distorted Reality". Great title, makes you feel like you're moving through a dark zone...
Zombie Nation - "Kernkraft 400".
