My 2026 Terraria Worlds
(Master mode Mediumcore)
I did it! I beat master mode, and not only that, but I also did it in medium core!!!
At first I wanted to play slowly and build a lot, but I got bored of that once I got strong enough (once I made gold armor - after that I could tank a lot of stuff).
All in all, it was fun. This was a large drunk world with teleporters, extra floating islands, and maybe something else?
I HATED playing on a large world. I usually do medium (though in the past I almost always chose large) and the verticality of large just suffocated me. Despite this being a drunk world, I didn't get a pyramid, so I couldn't finish my balloon trio. There were two particularly bad deaths, they took an hour to undo each (I rushed to get my shit back over and over). The worst part was in early hardmode, when I was rushing to get adamantite armor. After that it was all smooth. I killed most bosses with ease save for Skeletron Prime (I used a minecart contraption) and Moon Lord (I sat in his hand to prevent damage higher than 1 from being dealt to me). Plantera was surprisingly easy when you have a big crowd control excalibur available. The pillars were better than usual, I would make a small spawn point near them and slowly kill off the enemies. The pink one was the only one that sucked. Moon Lord took 3 tries, for the other 2 I went back to my expert world to fetch items for the summon item (I didn't want to do pillars again) and some potions (couldn't be arsed to fish for endurance). I skipped Queen Slime, Fishron and the fancy light girl because they had no useful loot for me, also Pirates and Martians never came and I never did the OOA because I don't like it. I think if it weren't for melee, I'd struggle a whole lot more, especially with plantera. Anyways, it was good, but I am probably never gonna play on a large world again, and unlikely to do mediumcore again for a whiiiiile.
